As per By-law 108-2024, Section 7.9(a) Any person who wishes to appear before Council regarding an item on the current agenda shall make written application to , by noon, the day of the meeting, to be placed on the Agenda to appear before Council at the meeting at which it will be dealing with the item of interest to the deputation.

This session of the Budget Committee meeting will recess until 6:00 p.m. on November 26, 2024

As per the Public Notice By-law, Chatham-Kent Council hereby gives public notice of its intention to hold public meetings, and adopt the 2025 Annual Budget Update, and pass a resolution to end Council’s budget review immediately following receipt of a recommended budget from the Chatham-Kent Budget Committee. Such a resolution would initiate the Mayor’s opportunity to veto any amendments, or where such veto is waived, result in a final budget.

The Budget Committee also gives public notice of the need to meet in Closed Session at any time during the budget deliberation process, as permitted by the Municipal Act, 2001.
